Udzungwa red colobus  (Piliocolobus gordonorum)

This species is known only from the fragmented forests of the Udzungwa Mountains in south-western Tanzania, and from a few small patches of forest in the nearby Kilombero Valley in south-central Tanzania (2) (5).

Found in primary and secondary forests of lowland riverine, semi-deciduous forest to montane, mature evergreen forest, at elevation of between 200 and 1,600 metres above sea level (1) (2) (6).
