الجبال والأودية
تقع جبال الحجر في موازاة الساحل الشرقي لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ويستمر امتدادها ناحية الجنوب الشرقي على طول حدود دولة الإمارات مع سلطنة عمان. ومع الارتفاع المفاجىء لتلك الجبال عن رمال الصحراء، غالباً ما يُعتقد خطأ بأنها خالية من أي نوع من أنواع الحياة، إلا أنه بالفحص الدقيق و تفقد العديد من الأودية، سنجد أن هذا الجبل المدهش هو في الحقيقة موطن لتنوع فريد وساحر من النباتات والحيوانات.
