تعيش في الإمارات العربية المتحدة مجموعة متنوعة من الطيور حياة رغدة. فهناك حوالي 100 سلالة تتكاثر بانتظام في دولة الإمارات، التي تعتبر موطناً لكثير من الطيور المهمة التي تهاجر عبر دول العالم في فصل الشتاء. ونظراً لموقعها المميز في طريق هجرة الطيور بين آسيا وأفريقيا، تستضيف الإمارات أعداداً كبيرة من المهاجرين الزائرين، ليصل إجمالي عدد السلالات إلى حوالي 435 نوع من الطيور.
