Thrush nightingale (Luscinia luscinia)

- Similar in appearance to the common nightingale, the thrush nightingale is a little darker with a mottled breast.
- The thrush nightingale feeds on berries and insects.
- The song of the thrush nightingale is much like the famous song of the common nightingale, although its trills are more metallic.
Classified as Least Concern (LC) on the IUCN Red List (1).
