- The sea potato is a deposit feeder, picking up food particles with its tube feet.
- The sea potato is found in a burrow of between 8 and 15 centimetres deep.
- The sea potato is yellow-brown in colour and covered in lots of backward facing spines.
The sea potato has not yet been assessed by the IUCN.
