What is RSS?
RSS feeds allow you to keep up to date with the latest content on your favourite websites.
Instead of having to visit a website to check for new content, RSS collects the information and your RSS reader can alert you. Your RSS reader will show new content from Arkive alongside other content from other RSS feeds you may have subscribed to.
How can I use RSS?
To use an RSS feed you need to have an RSS reader. The RSS reader will regularly check the RSS feeds and present the new additions to you.
There are many different RSS readers available. To start with you may want to try Google Reader, or search for other readers. Additionally, the ability to subscribe to RSS feeds is built into browsers like Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox, and software like Microsoft Outlook 2007.
