You can always try these example searches to get you started.

What is STERNA?

ARKive and other leading European organisations that collect and manage digital content on nature and wildlife have been working together in the STERNA project to create what will become a comprehensive information space on birds.

To learn more about STERNA and its objectives, visit http://www.sterna-net.eu.

What does it contain?

The STERNA portal is for searching about information about birds.

The STERNA environment contains details of many bird related resources, including web-pages, documents, museum specimens, occurrence records, and images, sounds and videos. The STERNA environment is growing and more content will be added as more partners become involved. The portal is a work in progress, and should not be considered a finished product.
