Javan gibbon  (Hylobates moloch)

Range

The silvery gibbon is endemic to the western half of the island of Java, Indonesia (6).

Habitat

Inhabits tropical lowland, hill and montane (6) rainforests between sea level and 1500 meters (4). This species shows a preference for taller trees for resting, foraging and locomotion (6).
