Witness the Wild, Bristol, UK

From 30 September to the 8 October, Wildsceen’s Witness the Wild festival will submerge the city of Bristol in all things marine to raise awareness about ocean conservation.

Our festival includes FREE film screenings, live street art, giant sculpture making and a photography trail featuring images from some of the world's best underwater photographers.

Marine plastics

It's estimated that c.8 million tonnes of plastic debris is washed into our oceans each year. The impacts of plastic pollution range from entanglement or ingestion by marine life, to damaging the health of human populations that live near the coast. 

But we can all take really simple actions to help, from saying no to straws to only using reusable cups.
