Hoolock gibbons  (Hoolock hoolock and Hoolock leuconedys)

Range

The western hoolock gibbon (Hoolock hoolock) occurs in Bangladesh, India and Myanmar, and possibly into China; while the eastern hoolock gibbon (Hoolock leuconedys) occurs in China and Myanmar, and possibly India (1).

Habitat

Inhabits tropical evergreen rainforest, semi-evergreen forests, tropical mixed deciduous forests and sub-tropical hill forests (6).
