Gough moorhen  (Gallinula comeri)

Endemic: A species or taxonomic group that is only found in one particular country or geographic area.
Mantle: In birds, the wings, shoulder feathers and back, when coloured differently from the rest of the body.
Monogamous: Mating with a single partner.
Territory: An area occupied and defended by an animal, a pair of animals or a colony.
