Glossary

  • Arboreal: living in trees.
  • Diurnal: active during the day.
  • Gregarious: tending to form a group with others of the same species by habitually living or moving in flocks or herds rather than alone.
  • Monogamous: mating with a single partner.
  • Pheromone: a chemical produced by an animal, which stimulates a behavioural or physiological response in another member of the same species.
