Snakes
Snakes are highly adapted reptiles, most notable for their lack of limbs. Found on every continent except Antarctica, snakes even occur inside the Arctic Circle. The smallest snake species measure around ten centimetres in length, while the largest can reach over ten metres. All snakes are predatory, with varied diets including everything from tiny insects to large vertebrates such as deer and crocodiles.
