Description

The Coral Pink Sand Dunes tiger beetle is a subspecies of the tiger beetle Cicindela limbata. It has striking colouration; the large wing cases (known as elytra) are predominantly white and much of the body and legs are covered in white hairs (4). The upper thorax has a metallic sheen and the eyes are particularly large (4).
