Glossary

  • Carrion: the flesh of a dead animal.
  • Double-clutching: when eggs are removed from a nest and hatched in an incubator, causing the female to lay a second clutch of eggs.
  • Re-introduction: an attempt to establish a species in an area to which it has been introduced but where the introduction has been unsuccessful.
