The Angola colobus is classified as Least Concern (LC) on the IUCN Red List (1) and is listed on Appendix II of CITES (2). Subspecies: Sclater’s Angola colobus, Powell-cotton's Angola colobus and the Tanzanian black-and-white colobus are classified as Least Concern (LC) by the IUCN. Cordier’s Angola colobus is classified as Near Threatened (NT), the Rwenzori black-and-white colobus is classified as Vulnerable (VU) and Prigogine's Angola colobus is classified as Endangered (EN) on the IUCN Red List (1).
