Incubate: To keep eggs warm so that development is possible.
Oviparous: An animal that reproduces by laying eggs, which hatch outside the mother's body.
Subspecies: A population usually restricted to a geographical area that differs from other populations of the same species (generally in colouration or other morphological characteristics), but not to the extent of being classified as a separate species.
